Prep course in New York

The 3-day Orientation Training Program is a great way to start off your year in the U.S. You'll meet au pairs from around the world, our support staff, and get to explore the best of New York City!

During the program, our experienced instructors will lead you through a variety of sessions on childcare, as well as sessions about adjusting to life in the U.S.

The orientation program includes session on:

• Fire and household safety
• Child health and safety
• Hands-on CPR training
• Various stages of child development
• Childcare tips and tools
• Communicating with your family

The program includes your meals and lodging, and will also give you time to get to know some other au pairs. Together you'll get to explore New York City and share your questions, goals and excitement about the year ahead. Some of these au pairs may be going to your same community, or you may decide to meet up during the year during your vacation or travel time!
