Foreign Exchange Student information

Interview and selection. After receiving your application form and fee, we will arrange for your personal interview with an STS Representative. Parents are invited to the interview meeting and can ask questions to our Representative. Before the interview, you will receive a comprehensive application package for you and your parents to complete. Acceptance onto the program is based on your teacher's recommendation, your school reports, personal maturity and positive attitude and the report of your interview. Successful candidates will receive a letter of acceptance after their completed application documents have been assessed by our office.

Language requirements. There are no language requirements, except for Japan and French Canada. After receiving your completed application documents and first payment, we will send you a self study language course package, if you apply to any foreign language country promoted in this brochure, except the Nordic countries and China. It is essential for the success of your program that you make thorough use of your self study language course package before departure.
