When I started telling people around me that I was leaving Australia for some student exchange program in Italy, they started coming up with questions like "why are you doing this?" or "what is the point of all this?". Well back then I did have some answers for those questions. But right now, after all I went through learning a new language, discovering a beautiful culture, making new friends and learning how to take care of myself, I found out that leaving Australia for one year to experience a new life is the best thing I have ever done.
