As an exchange student, you will experience fully the culture of Argentina with its mix of traditional Latin American lifestyle and strong European influence.
Exchange students especially love the passionate temperament of tango, the gaucho customs and asados (barbecues) with family and friends. They are welcomed by the friendliness, politeness and open attitude typical of the Argentinean host families and school mates.
The typical Argentinean family consists of the mother, the father and at least 2 to 3 children. Family is very important in Argentina and you will also meet aunts, uncles and cousins on a regular basis. Argentinean are very affectionate and demonstrative, and you will most probably be welcomed with hugs and kisses.
Your host family will be eager to show you the natural beauties of your area and help you to get immersed in the Argentinean costums.
