Does my family have to host?

No. Your family is not required to host before, during or after your program. However we encourage you and your family to do so and to benefit from our Host and Go discount, in addition to a great experience.

The best way to prepare for your exchange program is for you and your family to host a student before you go. You and your family will then have the opportunity to discover a new culture and a new language through your new family member, and most importantly to learn about the feelings and experiences of an exchange student.

To encourage the families of our students to give it a go, we apply a discount of $100 per month of hosting. This discount will be deducted from your program fee if your family hosts before your departure or reimbursed if your family hosts during or after your program.
