Special discount for STS Australian students
If you apply onto our exchange program and your family hosts a STS student for 10 months, you will get a discount of $1,500.
The best way to prepare for your exchange program is for your family to host a student before you go. You and your family will then have the opportunity to discover a new culture and a new language through your new family member, and most importantly to learn more about the feelings and experiences of an exchange student.
Your family can also start hosting just before or after your departure for your own exchange program. The discount will then be reimbursed at the end of the hosting program.

Host family
STS will take care of all school arrangements
and you will have the support of a local STS Representative.
As a volunteer family no payment is received, a common rule for all exchange organisations, to ensure that host families really want to share their lives with a student for the cultural exchange experience.
