Julie from Canada, year program

Oskar from Sweden, year program
Oskar is 17 and loves to spend time in the ocean. He has a dream of diving with the Great White. He says "in a cage of course!". Oskar has his diving certificate. He is also a good artist and a keen player of World of Warcraft on the computer. His teacher says that he is a very social person, always with a smile, and makes easily contact with fellow students and teachers.



Marlin from Switzerland, year program
Marlin was born in 1993. She has a passion for animals. She has her dog, Luna, an aquarium and two rats. She also helps out on a farm. Sport is also a favourite. Marlin plays squash and enjoys skiing and snowbarding in winter. She has been playing the saxophone for 7 years and is part of a band. Marlin is looking forward to meeting the friendly Aussie people she has heard so much about, and all our "exotic" animals too!



William from Sweden, year program
William is 17 and enjoys tennis, football and watersports. He also loves wakeboarding, waterskiing and fishing. But his favorite sport of all is ice hockey and he plays in a local team. William is used to live in a large family with siblings and pets and is always ready to help around the home, including babysitting at times. He is looking forward to sharing his culture and to learn how life is being an Aussie.



Margherita from Italy, year program
Margherita is 16 and loves music. She plays both the acoustic and the electric guitar. Margherita is also an animal lover and adopted a goldfinch called Pico that she rescued after a fall from a tree. She speaks both Italian and English, since her father is half English-Scottish. She loves cooking for and with her family and friends. Margherita has always been fascinated with the beauty of the Australian natural landscapes and environment. She also met quite a few Aussies at her international school, including one of her teachers, and is very much looking forward to her program in Australia.



Aini from Finland, year program
Aini is 17 and has a passion for dancing. She has been dancing for most of her life. She also plays volleyball and has been part of a team for the last 5 years. She also enjoys listening to music and reading. Aini respects people who have achieved many things in their lives; she thinks that we should always take the time to look inside anyone we meet before making any judgement. Aini has spent part of her life in Lapland, Santa's homeland in the very north of Finland. She is looking forward to discover as amazing and different scenery in Australia.
